Introduction

The wet-type drum permanent magnetic separator is mainly suitable for wet separating of the following ores with the sizes less than 3mm, which are magnetite, magnetic pyrite, baking ore, ilmenite and so on. Introduction

Magnetic separator is most widely used in industry. It utilizes the different specific susceptibility of various minerals, and separates the magnetic substances in mixture, with the help of magnetic force and mechanical force. This is a new mine selection machine which is developed in the recent 20 years, mainly used in thin grade ferromagnetism mineral dry and wet separating.


This type of the wet permanent magnet drum is mainly suitable for wet separating of the following ores with the sizes less than 3mm, which are magnetite, magnetic pyrite, baking ore, ilmenite and so on. It also can be used to remove the iron for processing of coal, nonmetallic mineral and construction materials. The magnetic system of the magnetic separator is made by compositive materials of high quality ferrite materials and rare earth magnetic steel and the magnetic induction is 100-600mt, We can produce the magnetic separator into uniflow, semi-counter current and reflux type, This magnetic separator has the advantage if high capacity, easy to control and simple structure.

● CTB is mainly suitable for rough wet separating and scavenging with the size between 0.5-0mm, especially for concentrating large ore with the size between 0.15-0mm.

● CTN is mainly suitable for rough wet separating and scavenging with the size of the strong magnetic mineral between 0.6-0mm, especially for recycling the heavy-medium in coal washery.

● CTS is mainly suitable for rough separating and concentrating with the size between 6-0mm.


Working Principle

It mainly consists of magnetic , drum, separation trough, gearing, and feeding , discharging ,and overflowing device.

According to the different specific susceptibility, it makes use of magnetic force to separating the various minerals. When the pulp ores enter into separation area, the strong magnetic minerals will be absorbed on the surface of the drum under the force of the magnetic fields, and then be leaded into the Concentrates mouth along the rotary of the drum. As been away of the magnetic system, it will be discharged into concentrated trunk by the water, At the same time, the matrix and the weak magnetic minerals will inflow the tailings discharging mouth against the rotation direction of the cylinder, under the flow of the pulp ore in the tank.
